Family psychological security is one of the basic concepts in the field of family studies that has attracted the attention of researchers in this field in recent years. The present study aims to investigate the damaging factors of family psychological security. The study method was a systematic review, and related sources and research from 2011 to 2024 were extracted from Google Scholar, Normags, the database of the Scientific Information Center of the Jihad Daneshgahi, and the Comprehensive Humanities Portal. Out of 457 sources, those that were consistent with the research criteria and the main keywords of the research (psychological security, family security, and psychological security in the family) and sources that had examined this relationship were included in the study. After discarding irrelevant sources, 12 relevant sources were identified. The results of the research findings show that factors such as "adverse childhood experiences", "feelings of loneliness among family members", "lack of religious practices and lack of spirituality in the family environment", "wrong structures in the family", "natural and social crises", "lack of meaning in life", "pathological dependence and lack of individual independence among family members", "lack of marital satisfaction", and "lack of communication skills among family members" harm the psychological security of the family. The results of this study will be significant for school administrators, health and sanitation officials, as well as educational policymakers in the country.
