This study was conducted with the aim of examining the role of the Islamic Revolution in the growth and advancement of Islamic psychology. The research employed a descriptive–analytical method. To this end, the historical background and the development of Islamic psychology in other countries were first reviewed. In fact, the origins of Islamic psychology can be traced back to the 1960s and 1970s, particularly to the movement of Islamization of the humanities in Pakistan, Egypt, and Malaysia. Nevertheless, the role of the Islamic Revolution in the growth and transformation of Islamic psychology has been remarkably significant. In this study, the impact of the Islamic Revolution on Islamic psychology was categorized into five dimensions: motivational, supportive/facilitative, educational, content production, and international. Furthermore, theoretical activities and orientations related to Islamic psychology since the beginning of the Revolution were analyzed, and ultimately six distinct stages were identified along with the primary concerns of researchers in each stage.
