The present study was conducted with the aim of predicting family efficiency based on responsibility and the mediating role of self-control. The method of the current research was descriptive of the correlation type, and its statistical population consisted of married men and women in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari provinces. The sample members were selected by random sampling method. 150 sample people selected to collect the research data answered the questionnaires of the efficiency of the Safurai family (2018), the responsibility of Gaff (1984) and the self-control of Rafii Honar (2015) and the results obtained with the help of statistical methods of correlation coefficient and regression. It was linearly analyzed. The findings of the research showed: a) There is a significant positive relationship between family efficiency and its three dimensions with responsibility and self-control b) There is a significant positive relationship between family efficiency and responsibility c) There is a relationship between self-control and responsibility There is a significant positive.
