This research was conducted with the aim of conceptualizing emotional self-awareness in Islamic mysticism. The method used was qualitative content analysis of texts. For this purpose, first, words and concepts related to emotional self-awareness in Islamic mysticism were collected. In the next stage, the collected words and concepts were examined by applying the principles of text preprocessing, and the inferential contents related to each concept and proposition were recorded next to them on a form, and by analyzing and classifying the inferential contents, the components of emotional self-awareness were obtained. Then, the components were provided to experts for validity testing, and after calculating CVI and CVR and applying the experts' opinions, 11 components were finally obtained, including knowing the real self, knowing one's beliefs, knowing one's values, recognizing positive emotions, recognizing negative emotions, knowing one's feelings, being aware of the consequences of emotions, being able to control emotions, being aware of the factors that cause emotions, feeling ready for positive change, and a tendency to use emotions optimally and optimally for emotional self-awareness in Islamic mysticism. Then, a conceptual model of emotional self-awareness was drawn based on the obtained components. The findings of this study have provided the basis for creating a scale and developing a training package for mystical emotional self-awareness.
