Personality resistant to stress based on Islamic sources

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of investigating stress-resistant personality based on Islamic sources. The research method is the qualitative content analysis of religious texts, which is used to understand and deduce psychological teachings from religious texts. The word "Aziz" and its derivatives in Islamic sources constitute the main keyword of this article. According to the study, the word "Aziz" has a semantic contrast with the two words "alhown and al-hawan" and "al-zol and al-zhalil" and has a Semantic inclusion with the words "patience" and "perseverance". Also, by analyzing the verses and narrations with the root of Aziz and its derivatives, it was determined that Aziz structure is a personality trait composed of cognitive, emotional and behavioral dimensions, which is consists of the components of 1. Religious commitment and adherence 2. Wise courage 3. Emotional control 4. Positive relationships 5. Positive motivation 6. Intelligence and cleverness and 7. Strength and strength. The validity of the findings has been measured using three methods: researcher self-review, control by colleagues and theoretical verifiability. Based on the findings of this research, by relying on the eternal power of God, in the face of all kinds of pressures, hardships and stresses, Aziz appears strong and powerful and overcomes them with his abilities.
